Today, the Postgres Community released the new 9.5 version [Beta] of PostgreSQL. 

The newly released version embodies several unique benefits. In fact, PostgreSQL 9.5:

  • Expanded concurrent locking
  • Buffer mapping
  • Prefix sorting
  • boosts performance and scalability; 
  • enhances productivity with data analytics; and
